How it Heals

In Chinese medicine, Rou Gui warms the kidneys, spleen, and heart and strengthens Yang. It also disperses deep cold, warms & unblocks the channels and vessels to alleviate pain, while leading fire back to its source and assisting in the generation of Qi and Blood.

In Western terms, Cinnamon Cassia has become a common medicine for treating nephropathy, dysmenorrhea, menoxenia, and diabetes. It’s also been shown to be helpful in the fight against degenerative brain disorders. It has been known to effectively target pain related to inflammation, such as menstrual cramps, sore joints, aching muscles, and even allergic reactions.

Fun fact: An oil extracted from cinnamon, Eugenol, has been used as a local anesthetic and antiseptic by dentists.
