Head of Growth

We are seeking an innovative Marketing Leader as passionate about the value of data as you are about the power of design and community. As the Direct of Marketing for Elix, you will oversee the growth of the brand and customer base. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for defining and tracking KPIs, launching impactful campaigns, managing critical partnerships, facilitating key negotiations and mentoring a growing team.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Oversee brand and performance marketing internally and with external agencies/consultants to drive growth and help millions discover holistic healing
  • Develop, prioritize and implement paid acquisition strategies across online and offline channels to achieve CAC goals, while focusing on high LTV customers
  • Create a marketing content and promotions calendar that drives revenue and provides value in people's lives
  • Determine how best to create (podcast, video, emails, etc) and distribute (influencers, paid, affiliate, etc) content to drive acquisition and engagement
  • Measure, analyze, visualize and report on all media performance to gain insights, best practices and optimization opportunities for future campaigns
  • Develop and implement a rigorous test and learn approach and roadmap to measure and optimize online and offline campaigns
  • Ensure continued growth of programs and performance improvement
  • Continually optimize website, audience targeting, and creative to improve funnel performance and maximize ROI
  • Conduct analyses and surface the data that will inform the strategies that move customers from through the purchase funnel
  • Manage CRO, paid search, and paid social agency relationships, ensuring creative best represents the Elix brand
  • Extend landing page optimization learnings into the Elix website and identify additional testing opportunities
  • Scale influencer marketing program and amplify in paid social media
  • Develop a data-driven SEO strategy and execution plan
  • Launch and grow affiliate program by developing better relationships and expanding into new partners
  • Identify and test new channels for growth
  • Stand up a BI solution and drive full adoption across the organization
  • Identify attributes of the most profitable customers and develop strategies to target look-alikes
  • Determine how to reduce churn by developing a more thoughtful approach to nurturing new customers
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and keep team, key stakeholders and management informed of their potential implications

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the brand identity with the team to ensure consistency across marketing touchpoints
  • Hold regular meetings with the marketing team to review ongoing projects, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure the team consistently performs above standard
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that result in a superior product and improved internal efficiency

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 6-8+ years of marketing and advertising experience (startup DTC, e-commerce and/or CPG experience strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience being fully responsible for acquiring new customers
  • Knowledge of multiple marketing functions and principles, including creative management, paid social, paid search, SEO, and CRO (experience with Shopify is a plus!)
  • Experience with agency management: sourcing, negotiating and problem-solving
  • Analytical problem solver with strong Excel skills and experience with multi-channel measurement
  • Proactive, hard-working and resourceful in pushing progress forward and meeting accelerated timelines with minimal oversight
  • Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced but thoughtful and feedback-rich environment

Content and Community Manager

We are seeking a dynamic copywriter and storyteller to create compelling content across our key marketing channels to share wisdom about our cycles + our bodies and engage our audience and customers.

The ideal candidate is a wordsmith “people person” with an obsession for creative content and thrives off of sharing her passion for women’s health and wellness.

Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Create a compelling content strategy to engage our community across our channels with a focus on social media channels, blog, email and text
  • Draft short and long form copy to spark healthy epiphanies and conversations across platforms
  • Tap into community feedback and consumer trends to plan, test, and launch campaigns, activations and partnerships
  • Closely collaborate with our PR, Digital and Influencer Marketing partners to develop campaigns that increase brand awareness and engagement
  • Identify on-brand content creators across social channels and partner on creating blog posts and broader campaigns
  • Manage the creation and execution of campaigns on our email, SMS and blog platforms
  • Collaborate with growth marketers on paid ad campaigns, and support copy as needed
  • Partner with our founder and growth marketer on partnerships, events and activations
  • Collaborate on our Scholarship and give-back programs - selecting recipients and encouraging UGC (user generated content)
  • Leverage data to track, measure and report on ROI of efforts to guide future strategies

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has 4-5 years of experience working in a relevant role at a brand, agency or media outlet known in the creative, media, consumer and/or wellness space
  • Enjoys engaging with our inspiring community both online and IRL - can start a conversation with anyone - and likes to have fun!
  • Loves collaboration, especially with design and creative to bring campaigns to life
  • Lives and breathes content - with breadth of knowledge and experience across channels, mediums and tactics
  • Is proficient in storytelling and able to craft creative, unexpected and customer-driven content that unites brand storytelling with community driven initiatives
  • Loves problem solving and thrives in a fast-paced and exciting work environment
  • Has the ability to drive performance against sets of measurable KPIs – identifying areas of opportunity and trends when benchmarking performance or pitching new ideas.

Lead Designer

We are seeking an imaginative, dynamic and highly versatile brand designer – with experience across all communication channels (from digital, to social, packaging, print and experiential) – to bring to life the beauty of proven plant medicine while inspiring new conversations around traditionally taboo areas of our cycles + our bodies. This role will be instrumental to building out the Creative team and be mentored by our Creative Advisor (Helen Steed) while reporting directly to the Founder and CEO.


Some Challenges You’ll Tackle:

  • Brand building from the inside out across channels and mediums

  • Continuously audit and reimagine the brand experience across the user journey lifecycle, creating content that inspire, connect and engage our community

  • Collaborate closely with our PR, Digital Marketing, Social & Influencer and other internal and external partners to develop campaigns that spark awareness, conversations and growth

  • Brainstorm ways to continue communicating the brand story and dichotomies to activate healthy epiphanies and conversations (ie, through print and packing design, unboxing experience, email/SMS, online journey, growth marketing campaigns, etc.)

  • Tap into community feedback, metrics and consumer trends to plan, test and launch new concepts, activations and partnerships

  • Identify new partners and collaborators to further the visual library and needs of the brand

  • Be the owner of the brand guidelines, providing internal and external partners with feedback, approvals and direction for all materials to ensure consistency

  • Loves visual storytelling and iconography - has a capacity to define, interpret and execute creative direction to connect and inspire

  • Is obsessed with trends and culture to stay 'ahead of the curve’ – exhibits a strong passion for consumer brands, design, art and fashion, typography and color with experience designing across multiple brand touchpoints, including print, packaging, digital, motion graphics, experiential (pop-up) and more

  • Thrives in a fast-paced but thoughtful and feedback-rich environment

  • A BA in Graphic Design and Communications or equivalent degree
