How it Heals

In Chinese Medicine, White Ginseng tonifies Qi, generates fluids, nurtures the stomach, and nourishes and supports lung Yin, clearing fire from the lungs.

In Western terms, White Ginseng is a stimulant used to relieve stress and boost the immune system. It also improves digestion and loss of appetite, as well as subdues vomiting and inflammation of the colon and stomach lining.

Fun fact: The word “panax” is derived from the Greek ‘Panakos’ (panacea), in reference to the various benefits attributed to the herb. The word “ginseng” is said to mean “the wonder of the world.”
