With warming notes of pepper, pine, and mint, cardamom is a great choice to spice up a cooling summer drink to bring back some of that yin/yang balance into the recipe, while providing a healthy boost of antioxidants. These aromatic flavors pair beautifully with a fresh base of citrus, like orange and lime, and mint to improve digestion, reduce bloating, and support immune health. For this recipe, Zoey loves to add in Elix’s Stay Well tincture to incorporate essential adaptogens that help to combat fatigue, prevent infections, and support everyday health, so you don’t miss a minute of Summer.
